How to Install Insulation Fasteners
Insulation should be fitted using a combination of Centre fix and Perimeter fix fasteners to create a secure fix
Perimeter Fixing Refers to the perimeter of the insulation. For perimeter fixing use the recommended combination of an EJOT plastic washer with the suitable anchor/fastener
Centre Fixing Refers to the centre of each insulation block. For centre fixing use the recommended combination of EJOT stainless steel fixings

JT3-D6H Fastener with DMT Washer
The Stainless Steel Fastener/washer combination is an 8mm hex head application for centre fix applications.
Centre Fixing Refers to the centre of each insulation sheet. For centre fixing, use the recommended combination of EJOT stainless steel fixings shown in the downloadable guide.

SW8R Fastener with SBV Washer
The SW8R Fastener with SBV Washer is a perimeter fix for fixing to Steel studs from 1.2mm – 1.5mm via Sheathing Board
Please check with Polyplas Technical to confirm sheathing board suitability and fastener performance/compatibility. Note that all fixing lengths listed below are based on the assumption of a 12.0 mm sheathing board. If a different sheathing board thickness is used, please contact Polyplas Technical for further guidance.
