Withstands High Temperatures

Long-term oxidation resistance above 800 °C, with a melting point over 1375 °C (vs 650 °C for aluminium)
Retains 55% mechanical strength at 700 °C, ensuring durability under sustained heat

Low-Carbon by Design

Up to 3.5× lower CO₂ emissions and 10× less primary energy than aluminium during production
Reduces whole-building energy demand, requiring less insulation and retaining existing insulation to minimise waste

Low Thermal Conductivity

13× lower thermal conductivity than aluminium, delivering better U-values and reduced thermal bridging

CROSSFIX uses 100% stainless steel, with thermal conductivity of just 17 W/(m·K) compared to 160 W/(m·K) for aluminium.
